Beginner tips for better runs
A few habits that make runs steadier before you start chasing risky food clusters or ranked results.
Start wider than you think
The first few seconds decide the shape of the run. Use open lanes, collect safe food, and watch how the arena is moving before committing to the busiest area.
A small score you keep is better than a big cluster that leaves no exit.
Treat space as part of the score
Food raises the number, but space keeps the run alive. When the worm gets longer, plan turns before you need them.
- Avoid sharp turns when long.
- Do not chase every cluster.
- Leave crowded intersections early.
- Circle back to safer food instead of forcing a narrow path.
Use speed deliberately
Speed helps you reach food first, but it also shortens your reaction time. If the screen is crowded, choose a stable line before chasing the next pickup.
Short Unlimited runs are a good place to learn how the worm reacts at different lengths and speeds.
Log in before serious runs
Guest play is fine for testing the game. Log in before ranked play, friend features, purchases, rewards, or inventory changes so the service can connect the result to your account.
Ranked is about fewer mistakes
One reckless highlight run rarely helps as much as several stable finishes. After a loss, look for the first risky choice rather than the final collision.
If the connection or selected server feels wrong, change servers before starting a ranked attempt.
Check the result before starting again
The result screen is part of the learning loop. Confirm the mode, score, reward state, and ranked status before starting another run, especially if you are testing a new browser, a mobile web view, or a native app build.
If an ad, reward, or ranked update does not appear, do not repeatedly force the same action. Note the platform, time, account, and visible message, then use the support page so the event can be checked against the server logs.
